ForeFlight HD v3.6.2 and Runway Hotspot Diagrams

ForeFlight Mobile HD v3.6.2 is in the App Store.  This update contains some important download improvements for both the iPad and iPhone app. We recommend that all users update to v3.6.2 before downloading the next data cycle.

Release notes:
✣ Better recovery of failed downloads and more retry attempts.
✣ Fixed bug when trying to sign out of your account.
✣ Fixed bug where viewing nearby airports on the iPhone could cause the app to exit.

We’re also excited to announce that FAA runway hotspot diagrams are now available for U.S. airports. These diagrams are in the next data cycle, and can be viewed in the “Other” procedures.

Pilot’s Guide to ForeFlight Mobile for iPad

We’re excited to announce the release of the Pilot’s Guide to ForeFlight Mobile.  This user manual covers ForeFlight Mobile HD on the iPad, although much of it applies to iPhone users as well.
