ForeFlight has been made aware of a scam where individuals are posing as ForeFlight recruiters, using a domain similar to foreflight.com, and offering fake job opportunities.
Key things to know about ForeFlight’s recruitment process:
- All communication with ForeFlight staff will come from an @foreflight.com email address.
- Interviews never take place by email. All interviews are conducted by phone, video conference, or in person.
- In each case, ForeFlight will never ask for payments or fees, and we never ask for personal information before you are offered a position.
- All ForeFlight job postings can be found here: foreflight.com/careers.
In some cases, the scammers have asked potential victims to deposit funds to reimburse equipment purchases.
If you receive a suspicious job offer or communication, do not respond. If you are unsure if an email you receive is from ForeFlight, please send it to team@foreflight.com.
